Defeating Giovanni In Pokemon Go
Persian
Giovanni’s first Pokemon is Persian. This Pokemon is weak against Fighting-type Pokemon. Try countering with Lucario, Conkeldurr, or Machamp to defeat Giovanni. Persian is resistant to Ghost-type Pokemon. Players should ensure they do not face off against this Pokemon with Ghost-type Pokemon like Haunter, Gengar, or Shedinja.
Kingler / Nidoking / Rhyperior
When fighting Nidoking or Rhyperior, players should fight with a Ground-type Pokemon as they are weak against it. Groudon and Garchomp would be great to face off against either of these Pokemon. However, Kingler is strong against Ground-type Pokemon. In case players have to fight against Kingler, they should choose a gross or electric Pokemon. Since Shadow Lugia is also vulnerable against Electric Pokemon, we would recommend picking one of those. Zapdos, Raikou, or Electivire can come in handy when going against Kingler.
Shadow Lugia
Shadow Lugia is weak against Rock, Ghost, Electric, Ice and Dark Type Pokemon. If players are using an electric Pokemon against Kingler, it can be doubled up here. Playing an Electric-type Pokemon with a Charged move can help players defeat Givanni quickly.
