Ever since the letter of Ering surfaced on the internet, there are millions of PUBG Mobile fans are wondering, Will Battlegrounds Mobile India be banned? For the unversed, the Government of India banned PUBG Mobile last year citing security and privacy concerns and since then Krafton has been trying hard to launch a game similar to PUBG Mobile in India. After efforts of six months, Krafton has finally announced a brand new game titled Battlegrounds Mobile India but there are people who refer is as India’s PUBG, which Krafton has declined.
Will Battlegrounds Mobile India Be Banned?
The news of Arunachal Pradesh MLA demanding a ban on BGMI has put sadness on millions of fans and left wondering will it be banned as well? In order to win the Government’s trust, Krafton cut a tie with Tencent Games for the India distribution of the game but it is yet to be decided whether Battlegrounds Mobile India will see the light of the day in India or not.
What Ninong Ering Has To Say About BGMI Ban in India?
Ahead of Battlegrounds Mobile India launch, Ninong Ering wrote in his letter that most of Krafton Inc’s India employee belongs to Tencent and the game listing features the term PUBG Mobile.

He also alleged that Government is letting them launch BGMI to divert the attention of Youth in India amidst Coronavirus Pandemic. The Government has not issued a statement regarding the ban on Battlegrounds Mobile India. As soon as they make any official announcement regarding the same, we will update this post.
